LEGAL

Acceptable use

This page is a working draft pending legal review. It describes how LewLz is intended to be used. It is not legal advice and does not invent jurisdiction-specific obligations.

Intro

LewLz is for personal and professional communication from Windows: calls, video, chat, files, meetings and remote assistance. Use it in a way that does not harm other people or the service.

Prohibited use

Spam and abuse

Do not spam contact requests, calls, files or meeting invites. Repeated unsolicited outreach may be treated as abuse.

File transfer

Do not share malware or obviously illegal content through file transfer. Transfers are peer-to-peer. Free is limited to 5 MB; Premium allows large transfers.

Remote assistance

Remote assistance requires an active session and the other party’s participation. Do not use it to control a computer without that person’s knowledge. Free accounts have limited remote assistance; Premium has the full feature.

Recording

Recording is a product feature. Free accounts have limited recording; Premium has full recording. Recordings you keep on a Windows PC stay on that PC unless you upload them. Tell other participants when you record. You must follow the laws that apply to you.

Account and device abuse

Free allows 1 device. Premium allows up to 3. The server is authoritative. Sharing one account across many people or automated farms may be treated as abuse.

Reporting

Users can block others and submit reports. Admin sees operational metadata (who, when, category) without unrestricted access to private chat or recording content. Email support@lewlz.com for security reports.

Enforcement

We may suspend or limit accounts that abuse the service, exceed device limits, or violate these rules. Premium does not exempt an account from enforcement.

Account deletion

You can delete your account from the app or website after password confirmation and typing DELETE. Server sessions are revoked. Local files on your PC remain local.
